While your wolf doesn’t seem to have any innate ability of their own, it does appear that close proximity to them can amplify the strength, duration and range of the abilities of others - making your wolf a very handy wolf to have around, for anyone who seeks to strengthen their magic.

[Unique Ability - Something Wicked 2018]
Your wolf can now manipulate light! It begins slowly at first, perhaps without their notice, but they eventually come to find that they have some measure of control over visible light. While certainly beautiful and occasionally useful, this ability has no defensive or offensive uses.

With focus and patience, your wolf has learned to detect magical energy! They can sense when a spell has been cast, within a certain radius of their location, and they can also identify wolves who have high levels of magical ability. They cannot tell what ability a wolf has, but being able to quickly identify a wolf with hidden strength is a useful skill indeed.

[Unique Ability - Something Wicked 2020]
Oh look! It seems that your character has been blessed by some sort of forest magic, and now their path is marked by little brightly colored flowers. They don’t seem to last very long, fading back into the earth after an hour or so, nor do they have any real medicinal or magical effect. But they sure do look pretty! The enchantment seems to fade in the winter though, since flowers don’t grow very well in the cold season.

Your wolf has gained the ability to tune into the feelings and emotions of other wolves. This unique ability will affect every wolf differently, drawing on their strength of character and allowing them to read, influence or draw power from emotions.

[Unique Ability - Something Wicked 2021]
In times of high emotions, this wolf seems able to summon a misty haze. It’s indistinguishable from normal mist, so perhaps they think it’s a coincidence at first, but it eventually becomes clear that it is tied to their emotions. This could be useful for added stealth, but it could also make your wolf prone to getting lost often.

[Unique Ability - Something Wicked 2020]
Magic seems to have infused to your very bones and sinews, knitting your skin together in such a way that you can no longer be harmed by tooth or claw. You are by no means invincible, but you certainly have an edge in battle now.

[Unique Ability - Something Wicked 2018]
A truly wretched thing, far too foul to be called a blessing. This wolf's very presence causes a small area of plants around them to wither and die in under an hour. If concentrated on, the range grows and can even effect other animals. Smaller creatures such as squirrels and rabbits can be killed, while larger animals feel ill and weak.

All creatures have a shadow, but your wolfs' seems to have taken on a life of its own. And it's kind of a dickhead.

This sure is a handy skill to have… your wolf has learned to cast an ethereal shield to protect one wolf or one 4x4 foot area! Casting a shield requires immense concentration and no distractions, or the shield will shatter. Shields only last a certain length of time, so choose wisely what - or whom - you protect...

The call of your character reaches far and wide across the island, and seems to become irresitable to some... it seems that you are able to lure other wolves and draw them into your location using only a howl.

It seems for some unknown reason, that the island has chosen to link two souls together. Through the soul bond, you and another wolf can begin to drift into each other’s dreams, and eventually even begin to feel one another’s pain. This ability requires two wolves, so you’ll need to choose another Svajone character to share it with - someone you’re happy to have stuck in your dreams, maybe forever…

By sheer willpower or some magical force, your wolf has somehow learned to use the eyes of their familiar to their advantage. Unless you have purchased the Dr Doolittle familiar enhancement, you cannot control what the familiar does, where it goes, or fully communicate with it, but either way the ability can give the user brief situational viewpoints.

Your wolf has become friends with the shy forest wisps! You can now summon them to light your path in darkness, and since they are your friends, they will also make some effort to defend you from harm. Careful though… you don’t want them to get hurt, because if their flame goes out, they will not return to you again.
