haze

In times of high emotions, this wolf seems able to summon a misty haze. It’s indistinguishable from normal mist, so perhaps they think it’s a coincidence at first, but it eventually becomes clear that it is tied to their emotions. This could be useful for added stealth, but it could also make your wolf prone to getting lost often.

TIER RATING

This is a tier one ability.

STAGES

  • STAGE 1: Beginning stage

Your wolf notices that there always seems to be a light fog around when they are sad or very angry, even in the middle of Summer.

  • STAGE 2: Intermediate

Acquired by completing three pieces of artwork or roleplay that relate directly to your ability
Your wolf has begun to realise that the haze is connected to them and their emotions. The haze seems to have grown in power, and is thicker than in stage 1.

  • STAGE 3: Master

Acquired by completing a further three pieces of artwork or roleplay that relate directly to your ability.

In addition to the above, your wolf can now easily see through the haze, giving them an advantage over other wolves in the vacinity.

OVERALL RESTRICTIONS

This ability is entirely passive. It is tired to the emotions of the user, and will activate if they are feeling extremely sad or angry. They cannot force themselves to feel these things to force the ability to activate, it will only do so naturally. Any attempts, IC or OOC, to loophole and "force" a passive ability will result in immediate revocation of the ability.

Similarly, the haze cannot be maintained constantly. It only activates during high emotions.

The summoned haze is indistinguishable from normal mist or fog. As a result, in Autumn and Winter months it's possible that a wolf will not even notice the haze is connected to them in any way.

The wolf cannot actively choose to clear away the haze. However, should their emotions rebalance, they will find it naturally passes.

In stages 1 and 2, the user may find the haze frustrating, and find themselves regularly getting lost because they can't find their way through the fog. In stage 3, they are finally able to see through it.
