STEALTH
Your wolf has gained the ability to easily blend into their surroundings. While nothing about their physical form seems to change, they notice that if they remain still and quiet enough, others hardly seem to notice they're there at all. A particularly useful skill for the art of espionage, I'm sure.
TIER RATING
This is a tier two ability.
STAGES

-
STAGE 1: Beginning stage
Your wolf finds that when they remain still, others eyes may seemingly pass right over them. They cannot entirely fade into their surroundings, but chances are that, so long as they remain still and quiet, other wolves will not notice them at first glance if they're not actively looking. Even the smallest movements, like heavy breathing, disrupt the ability during this stage.
-
STAGE 2: Intermediate
Acquired by completing three pieces of artwork or roleplay that relate directly to your ability
Your wolf now finds themselves able to escape the notice of others even when they're intentionally looking for them. If they remain still and silent, others will not notice their presence until they have looked closely. Any movement will disrupt their passive stealth, including speech.
-
STAGE 3: Master
Acquired by completing a further three pieces of artwork or roleplay that relate directly to your ability.
In mastering their ability, your wolf can now go completely unnoticed, even if someone is looking directly at them - so long as they are still enough. Wolves may take notice if they look on for more than a few minutes, though, as the ability begins to flicker and the user's shape becomes apparent. By this stage, small movements will not disrupt the ability if no-one is looking directly at them, but any significant movement will. The user can move no more than a length or two, at a very slow speed, before the ability will cease.
OVERALL RESTRICTIONS
This ability is completely passive and cannot be activated or deactivated at will. It is directly correlated to how still the user is - any movement deactivates the ability. The amount of movement varies by the stages.
This ability does not affect the wolf's phsyical form, nor does it affect their surroundings. It simply makes them blend in (think of it like a passive type of camouflage). The user still has a tangible, physical form, and while they may not be spotted by eye, others could walk directly into them.
The user can still be identified by their scent. In stages 1 and 2, if a wolf catches their scent and manages to look directly at the user or look closely for them, the user will be spotted. In stage 3, as long as the user is remaining still, it is possible they could go entirely undetected even if scented.

If a wolf already naturally blends into their surroundings, their ability will be heightened (e.g. a black coated wolf at night). Conversely, it is more challenging for them to use this ability in surroundings in which they stand out (e.g. a black coated wolf in snow).

Once the user has revealed themselves, their ability cannot conceal them again from those who have noticed until they look away.
