Your wolf has uncovered a dark ritual, one which allows them to cause harm to others... but at a cost. As it often goes, great power requires sacrifice, and it is never more true than for the the Hexenbiest: for the user must also harm themselves in order to transfer the pain.

STAGE 1: Beginning stage
Your wolf seems to suddenly and inexplicably suffer pains, primarily in their joints and bones. Unbeknown to them, this is their body struggling to adapt to their new power. Under certain conditions (see restrictions) they find these pains are soothed, but any wolf who happens to be touching will gradually feel those pains instead. It usually wears off the victim after 24 hours.

STAGE 2: Intermediate
Acquired by completing three pieces of artwork or roleplay that relate directly to your ability
Upon dreaming of the ritual, your wolf may notice that it resembles some of the conditions from stage 1 which soothed their pains. Proximity seems to no longer activate the ability, but if they perform the ritual and include a lock of fur from the target, they find they are able to transfer internal physical pains such as aches, sprains, sicknesses to their victim. The affects usually wear off the victim after 48 hours. At this stage, the wolf can only affect a target within their own territory.

STAGE 3: Master
Acquired by completing a further three pieces of artwork or roleplay that relate directly to your ability.
In this final stage, the user is able to transfer physical pains - cuts, scratches, bites, or anything that bleeds. However, to open a wound on the flesh of another requires sacrifice, and so, the user can only transfer wounds which they inflict upon themselves. Transferred external wounds do not wear off - they are permanent, and must be treated like any other wound. In this stage, the affect time for internal pain transfers increases to 4 full days, and the wolf is no longer restricted by geography. They can target any wolf, provided they have a lock of their fur.
OVERALL RESTRICTIONS
This ability is passive in stage 1, with stage 2 and 3 activated at will via performance of the ritual.

The wolf sees the ritual in a dream during at the the end of stage 1. To activate their power, the Hexen must place a lock of the targets' fur onto a piece of birch bark, within a patch of wormwood. The ritual can only be activated at night and will not work without the light of the moon.

In stage 1, any one of the conditions from the ritual will act to soothe their pains, i.e.: being near birch trees, being in a patch of wormwood, being under moonlight.

When transferring a sickness to their target, the Hexen does not actually transfer their illness, only the sensations of it. For example, if the Hexen has a stomach bug, they will transfer the feelings of sickness to the target but not actually make them sick.

When transferring a physical wound in stage 3, the Hexen opens a very real matching wound on their target. The wound will be in the same part of the body as the Hexen places it, and open at the same time as the ritual is performed. The wound is permanent and will heal and scar like any other wound. Furthermore, as they are the result of a dark ritual, these wounds cannot be healed magically by a Shaman, and scars will always remain, on both the Hexen and the victim.

This ability is therefore limited to physical wounds the Hexen themselves can withstand/survive.
