corrode
Your wolf’s body seems to have become imbued by some kind of toxic substance that can burn and corrode almost anything they touch. Uncontrollable at first, it’s possible that they could learn to activate it at will… but their blood will always remain corrosive, making them a very difficult patient to treat should they ever get hurt.
TIER RATING
This is a tier three ability.
STAGES

-
STAGE 1: Beginning stage
Your wolf's touch becomes corrosive, and anything they touch seems to burn through, quickly and suddenly. They have no control at this stage, and it may leave them isolated due to the danger they may pose to those around them. During this stage, the corrosion can effect most natural materials, including other animals.
-
STAGE 2: Intermediate
Acquired by completing three pieces of artwork or roleplay that relate directly to your ability
Your wolf's control of their power begins to grow, and with practice they notice that the corrosion of their touch ebbs and wanes. While they are still not able to fully activate or deactivate it, it appears that they are learning and developing the skill. During this stage, the corrosion can effect most natural materials, including other animals.
-
STAGE 3: Master
Acquired by completing a further three pieces of artwork or roleplay that relate directly to your ability.
In this final stage, the user learns to control their touch corrosion, and is able to choose when to activate it and when to leave it dormant. The corrosion is now also strong enough to leave marks on stone.
OVERALL RESTRICTIONS
This ability is passive in stage 1, with stage 2 beginning to learn control, and stage 3 able to activate touch corrosion at will.

The effects of the corrosion is similar to acid burning. It will not start fires, but it will corrode through other substances.

The corrosion will affect and burn entirely through most natural materials, such as plants, trees/wood, as well as biological matter such as the skin and flesh of other animals and other wolves. If a wolf who has fallen victim to corrosion is not treated quickly, they can suffer immense pain, disfiguring scars, and possibly even infection and death.

Stone cannot be corroded all the way through. It is possible that corrosion could melt a few pebbles, and/or leave a mark on a stone wall (not unlike a hot iron brand), but nothing further.
The touch corrosion is only activated by the concious action of a touch from their paws, not by any other part of their bodies and not by passive action such as walking. They are still able to walk normally without the ground melting away below them.

This ability is not in any way connected to emotions and does not activate or deactivate depending how the user feels. It is passive at first, and in later stages is an active and deliberate choice.

In all stages, the user's blood is corrosive, and physical contact with their blood causes burning. This gives them something of a built in defence, but also makes them extremely difficult to treat if injured due to the risk of harm for the healer. Due to their corrosive blood, they cannot be tracked by a Bloodhound.
